Peer Support and Mentorship Programs

At Belle Pointe Dance & Movement Company we are friends and acquaintances, but we are also family. Together we are stronger, united by a common interest and goal, to see our dancers succeed. Succeed not only in dance but in life, at home, and to be happy and healthy. Together we can provide a safe and caring environment so that each and every one of our dancers will reach their potential and achieve their dreams. Our BPD community is strong and mighty and we are here for you. Let us stay united and connected, join the BPD circle. 

Our Peer Support Program is open to any registered BPD dancer and free to join. Our goal with our peer-focused programs is increasing levels of self-esteem, confidence, positive feelings, creating a sense of belonging, and keeping our dancers connected. It teaches our students about cooperation, empathy, and positive communication. Our peer supporters are experienced dance students that are ready to share their experiences and knowledge to create relationships with some of our newer and younger dancers. Inspiring hope and encouragement during these uncertain times can only result in great things for our dancers.

Our Mentorship Program is designed for our Intermediate to Advanced level dancers looking to gain personal guidance, support, and insight as they navigate the higher levels of their dance training and education. A mentor can inspire our young professionals, pre-professional and upper-level students to achieve their goals, and help them navigate what may feel uncertain and overwhelming. Connecting these dancers with a mentor will keep them from feeling disconnected and allow them access to a wealth of information and experience. Our mentors are our highly trained and beloved BPD teachers and staff members and will be matched with their mentees based on their common interests, personality, and aspirations.
