Belle Pointe Dance & Movement Company strives to provide professional and quality dance instruction to children and adults. We offer ballet, tap, Creative Movement and mom & baby and mom and tot dance classes.

Owner and Artistic Director, Jennifer Hiltz B.F.A. is an accredited dance instructor with training from York University, The Royal Academy of Dance and The British Association of Teachers of Dancing.

Registration is now open for Fall and Winter semesters.

Tiny Dancers

Creative Movement (ages 3 & 4)

A unique program developed for young children that are not yet ready for a structured dance class. Movement will be explored through dance, music and playful activities. The skills developed in Creative Movement will help prepare your child for Pre-Primary Ballet and/or beginner tap.

Classical Ballet

We follow the graded syllabus program of the Royal Academy of Dance, an organization developed in the 1920’s to advance the standards of teaching in classical ballet. Examinations are available starting at the Primary Ballet level but are not mandatory; students also have the option of doing a presentation class where they receive a certificate to prove they have taken part. Tap

Our tap program is designed to teach our students the basic techniques and rhythms of tap dance, stage performance and ultimately to have fun. Students will have the option to work toward B.A.T.D. Adult

Adult dance classes are a fantastic workout and a great stress reliever. Our adult ballet and tap 1 classes are best suited for those at a beginner level. Please call us prior to registration to discuss which class level would suit you best.

Adult Ballet 1 - Beginner

Adult Ballet 2 - Intermediate

Adult Tap 1 - Beginner

Adult Tap 2 – Intermediate

Move with Me 1 - Mom & Baby

This unique class allows you to bond and connect with your bay while getting back in shape! You and your little one are sure to have fun as we dance and move to innovative choreography inspired by many exciting dance styles. No previous dance training is required.

You will need a yoga mat and a baby carrier. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing that allows for a full range of movement.

Move with Me 2 - Mom & Toddler

Does your toddler love to dance? This is the perfect class for them! Exploring a range of basic dance movements to different rhythms. This class is sure to please any active toddler.

Both mom and tot should come dressed to move wearing shoes with non-slip and non-marking soles.

Dress Code

Creative Movement

Girls: Short or long sleeved leotard, ballet skirt, pink tights or ankle socks and pink ballet slippers. Hair must be neatly tied back.
Boys: White t-shirt, black pants or shorts, black socks and black ballet slippers.

Ballet – Pre-Primary & Primary

Girls: Short or long sleeved leotard with pink tights and pink ballet slippers. Dance skirt is optional. Hair must be neatly tied back.
Boys: White t-shirt, black pants or shorts, black socks and black ballet slippers.

Ballet – Grades 1 – 8

Girls: Navy or black sleeveless leotard with pink ballet tights and pink ballet slippers. Dance skirt is optional. Hair must be tied back.
Boys: White t-shirt, black pants or shorts, black socks and black ballet slippers.

Tap - All levels

Comfortable clothing that allow full range of movement and tap shoes. Hair must be neatly tied back.

Adult Ballet

Comfortable clothing that allow full range of movement and ballet slippers.

Adult Tap

Comfortable clothing that allow full range of movement and tap shoes.
