Our studio

At Belle Pointe Dance & Movement Company, we believe that inspiring our children to participate in the performing arts gives them the tools to become empowered and confident young adults. Our trained and experienced staff, mentor our students as they train in classical and contemporary styles of dance and musical theatre. We build them up so that they can reach their full potential as dancers, performers and as confident kids. 

We offer classes in ballet, tap, jazz, creative movement, musical theatre, acrobatics, hip hop, adult, mom & baby, parent & tot dance, fitness and more. Our beautiful facilities have full length mirrors, vinyl covered and hard wood floors and a fully enclosed parent viewing area or closed circuit video. Belle Pointe Dance & Movement Company offers a safe and non-competitive environment that is only minutes from south London, Westmount, Byron, Lambeth, the 401 and the 402.  We are always accepting new registrants, contact us  to inquire about availability.

Our theatre company

The Little Theatre Company was founded in 2015 and is a fully integrated children's performance group that celebrates youth through the arts of dance, drama and music. Our triple threat theatre company members perform at various local community events as well as in their Winter and Spring productions. The Little Theatre Company and Little Theatre Company Jr. offer our performers the chance to explore their full potential when it comes to dancing, vocal and acting. This program is one of a kind and there is no audition required in order to join. Our teachers

Our experienced and qualified instructors love to dance but most importantly they love to teach! 

Jennifer Hiltz BFA is a graduate of the Fine Arts Faculty of York University where she earned her Bachelor's in Fine Art with Honours in Dance, and is the owner and Artistic Director of Belle Pointe Dance & Movement Company. Jennifer has studied the art of dance from a very early age and has earned various accreditations and awards from York University, the Royal Academy of Dance, the British Association of Teachers in Dancing, Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers, Toronto Dance Theatre and the National Ballet of Canada. Jennifer is also, a registered member of The British Association of Teachers of Dancing, ADAPT Dance, a registered Acro-Dance Instructor and the director of the Little Theatre Company.

No dancer is too young, small, big, old or tall to dance with us here at Belle Pointe Dance. We believe that everyone deserves to learn to dance not only because of the endless benefits but because it makes you feel great. We practice safe teaching techniques and follow accredited syllabi in a non-judgemental and non-competitive environment. I hope you will consider dancing with us!
- Miss Jennifer

 Madison Dafoe began her love of dance at young age and danced competitively for many years. She has been trained in a variety of styles including jazz, tap, ballet, musical theatre and hip hop. She was an active member of the Wilfrid Laurier University Dance Program where she graduated and continues to share her passion at Belle Pointe Dance. Madison is a graduate of the ADAPT Syllabus Teacher Training School, and has brought this experience to help her students become technically proficient and reach their full potential. Madison is the our DANCE Team Director and is one of 3 registered teachers to lead our students through the dance examination process. 

Hayley Wilton BFA, BEd, is a graduate of the Fine Arts Faculty at Ryerson University where she graduated with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts in the Performance Dance program. Hayley has been immersed in various styles of dance from a young age, with a focus on Ballet. She has trained and performed with a multitude of companies across North America including: The National Ballet of Canada, Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Boston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre and The Joffrey Ballet. Aside from teaching at BPD, she is also an Elementary Teacher with TVDSB.

Kendra Ferguson holds a PhD in Sport Psychology from Western University. She danced competitively in ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, tap, and musical theatre, winning numerous overalls and scholarships. Her professional training began at the tender age of nine where she attended the National Ballet School of Canada. At age 11, Kendra was offered a full scholarship to the internationally renowned Ballet Academic Program at Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. She danced in the professional division for six years, which focused on ballet, pointe, character, modern, pas de deux, and variations. Through her training, she had the opportunity to experience the demands of performance and touring first-hand. She has also spent her time guest teaching at various studios in both Winnipeg and Ontario. 

Lauren Crowder has been dancing since the age of 3 and has completed training in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, and Contemporary.  She has successfully completed examinations in both the RAD and Society of Russian ballet syllabus as well as ADAPT jazz and tap.  Lauren has completed Quinte Ballet School of Canada's Professional Training Program, Joffrey Ballet's Jazz and Contemporary summer intensive, as well as the Rockettes' summer intensive. Lauren is a graduate of the ADAPT Dance Teacher's certificate program and the Catholic Studies for Teachers program at Kings University College. She is currently working towards her degree in Education.

Hayley Blyth grew up in London, and her strong passion for Performing Arts earned her an Advanced Diploma in the prestigious Musical Theatre Program at Sheridan College. Being a triple threat performer, she went on to perform with Carnival Cruise lines, and has performed featured roles in numerous shows such as Cabaret, Carnival, A Midsummer Nights Dream, Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, and West Side Story held at The Grand Theatre where she played the lead role of 'Anita'.  Performances include Budweiser Gardens on the London Lightning Dance Pack. Miss Hayley's fifteen year teaching career encompasses a comprehensive list of teaching styles including Classical Ballet, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Zumba and Acro recently attaining certification with Acrobatic Arts Module One.  She is currently working to attain her Honours Baccalaureate Degree in the spring of 2020. Above all, she loves to create, motivate and inspire dreams.

Michaela Craig started her dance career when she was 6 imitating Beyoncé music videos in her living room. She trained in ballet, modern, jazz, musical theatre, and performance at Walkerville Centre for the Creative Arts in Windsor, ON and is now pursuing a minor in dance at Western University. While in school she competes as a part of Hip Hop Western's team, The IX.

Kathy Quayle Pinkerton BFA, earned her degree from Ryerson Unveristy Performance Program in Acting, graduating with Honours.  She is an award-winning performer, director, choreographer, composer, trained Music Together teacher, creator/performer of the hit series and interactive StoryPlay and illustrator of children's book The Wolf That Couldn't Aroooo.  Native to London, she has had the pleasure to work, train and perform with local and international artists, theatre companies, arts organizations and schools.  Kathy is thrilled to share her love of theatre, storytelling and dance at BPD. Kathy completed her ADAPT 1st year teacher training this summer.

Allison Hillis is a graduate of the Don Wright Faculty of Music at UWO, and is a teacher of vocal and instrumental music with TVDSB.  Her love of music theatre started as a young child and grew through her years in high school as a part of Wexford Performing Arts.  She is excited to be a part of the musical theatre teaching staff at BPD.

Marque Smith was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. he studied classical piano at the Royal Conservatory of Music and jazz piano at Humber College. He is a very experienced choral musician and has been a members of the Karen Schuessler Singers, The Nathaniel Dett Chorale, The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, The Toronto Mendelssohn Youth Choir and The Canadian Children's Opera Chorus. Since moving to London in 2007, he directed productions for various musical theatre companies including, MTP, OKTC, The London Fringe Festival, LYTE and more. In 2012 Marque was the recipient of the Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for dedicated service to his peers. his community and to Canada. Marque is thrilled to be joining the Little Theatre Company Directors team.
